The Budget Session of the Bihar Legislative Assembly and the Legislative Council will begin today with the Governor’s address. The session will continue till 27th February. Soon after the Governor’s address, the Economic Survey will be presented in the House by the government. Discussion on the Governor’s address will take place on the following day. Finance Minister Bijendra Prasad Yadav will present the budget for the financial year 2026-27 in the House on Tuesday. This will be the first full-fledged budget of the new government formed under the leadership of Nitish Kumar after the Assembly elections 2025.
