The Andhra Pradesh Ministers’ training programme in Singapore entered its fourth day with a focus on studying the country’s globally acclaimed governance, industrial, technological, and sustainable development models.
Former Singapore PMO Minister Lim Swee Say briefed the delegation on Singapore’s transformation journey, highlighting its shift from a “Nation First” to a “We First” approach that emphasises inclusive growth and collective progress. Discussions centred on transparent governance, coordination between the government and private sector, long-term development planning, and building public trust through integrity and efficient administration.
The ministers also studied Singapore’s constituency-level grievance redressal system and rapid local problem-solving mechanisms. The delegation is examining the feasibility of adapting suitable Singaporean governance practices in Andhra Pradesh.
