Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu held a meeting with capital region farmers today in Amaravati on the issue of the second phase of land pooling.
The Chief Minister interacted with farmers from 10 villages belonging to Tadikonda and Pedakurapadu Assembly constituencies. The discussions focused on concerns and assurances related to land pooling for the development of the state capital. He announced financial support for farmers who contributed land under the second phase. He stated that a lease amount of 40,000 rupees per acre would be paid annually for a period of 10 years.
CM also agreed to waive agricultural loans up to 1.5 lakh rupees per family, providing relief to farmers. Additionally, he assured that the lease amount would be increased by 3,000 rupees every year.
The meeting aimed to build confidence among farmers and ensure their cooperation in the capital development process.
