Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu today paid tributes to B. R. Ambedkar on his 135th birth anniversary, recalling his contribution to social justice and the Indian Constitution. In a message, the Chief Minister said Ambedkar rose to great heights despite facing caste discrimination and dedicated his life to the upliftment of marginalised sections. He described him as the architect of a strong democratic framework that guarantees rights and equal opportunities to all citizens.
Mr. Naidu said the Constitution framed by Ambedkar remains the foundation of India’s democracy and continues to guide the nation. He called upon people to work towards achieving Ambedkar’s ideals.
He added that respecting democratic values and acting as responsible citizens would be a true tribute to the leader.
