The All Kerala Radio Drama Festival, organised by the Kerala stations of Akashvani, will begin tomorrow, promising a memorable experience for radio listeners. The nine-day festival will bring together acclaimed voices from Malayalam cinema and theatre.
This year’s festival gains added attraction with the participation of veteran Malayalam actor Mohanlal. The actor is lending his voice to radio dramas for the first time after being honoured with the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award. The festival, which concludes on May 18, will feature seven plays produced by the Kerala stations of Akashvani, including Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, Thrissur, Kozhikode and Kannur. The dramas will be broadcast through Kerala stations at 9.30 pm from tomorrow to 18th May and will also be available on the NewsOnAir app.
