A 15-day workshop on “Strengthening Culture & Value in Education through the means of Sports, especially Sagol Kangjei (Polo) of Manipur” concluded in Imphal today. The valedictory function was attended by Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh and Art and Culture Minister Khuraijam Loken.
During the function, the Chief Minister distributed certificates to 31 youngsters who participated in the workshop and honoured theatre personalities who received Manipur State Kala Academy awards.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister commended the Panthoibi Natya Mandir for conducting a workshop on Manipuri Pony and Sagol Kangjei in addition to focusing on cultural themes.
