Youth Are Ambassadors of Viksit Bharat 2047: MoS Sanjay Seth

Minister of State for Defence, Sanjay Seth, today said that India’s youth are the grand ambassadors of Viksit Bharat 2047 and will play a key role in leading the nation forward. He was speaking at the closing ceremony of the National School Band Competition Grand Finale in New Delhi. The Minister praised students from across the country for their vibrant and disciplined performances. Highlighting National Girl Child Day, he noted the strong participation of girl students, calling it a reflection of the success of the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao initiative.
This year the grand finale of the competition witnessed 18 band teams from 11 States. Mr Seth also presented prizes to the band performances. In the Brass Band Boys category, Sanjivini Sainik School and Junior College from Ahilya Nagar in Maharashtra secured the first prize. The first prize in the Brass Band Girls category was won by Providence Girls Higher Secondary School from Kozhikode in Kerala.
In the Pipe Band category, PM SHRI Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, Kanke in Ranchi secured the first prize, while Kairali School from Dhurwa in Ranchi bagged the first prize in the Pipe Band Boys category. Emphasising the Prime Minister’s Panch Pran, Mr Seth urged the youth to place the nation first and contribute towards building a strong and developed India. He concluded by saluting the armed forces and extending Republic Day greetings to all.
