Nitin Nabin takes charge as Youngest BJP National Working President

Newly appointed National Working President of the BJP, Nitin Nabin, today assumed charge at the party headquarters in New Delhi. Mr Nabin is the youngest working President in the party’s history and the first BJP leader from Bihar to be appointed to the post.

He currently represents the Bankipur Assembly constituency in Patna district and holds the Road Construction portfolio in the Nitish Kumar-led Bihar government. With nearly two decades of organisational experience, Mr Nabin held several key roles within the party, including Bihar President of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha and the BJP’s election in-charge for Chhattisgarh.

On taking charge as the National Working President today, BJP President and Union Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda, and former BJP President and Union Home Minister Amit Shah congratulated him.

In a social media post, Mr Nadda expressed confidence that Mr Nabin’s organisational skills will provide a new direction to the BJP’s journey of public service and nation-building. He added that Mr Nabin will take the welfare policies of the BJP government and the organisation’s ideas to the people.

Meanwhile, expressing confidence in Nitin Nabin’s leadership, Mr Shah said that under his leadership, the organisation will expand further. Mr Shah added that Mr Nabin will carry forward the policies of the Narendra Modi government and the party’s ideology to the people.
