In the Bihar Assembly elections, special focus has been laid on to first-time voters and young voters to increase voter turnout. Talking exclusively to Akashvani News, Additional Chief Electoral Officer Prashanth Kumar said that various voter awareness activities under SVEEP are being organized. He said programmes such as setting up selfie points and promotion of rap songs are being used to motivate and engage young voters. 

The Additional Chief Electoral Officer said that polling stations managed by women, persons with disabilities, and youth officers will be set up to encourage participation from different sections of society.

Mr. Prashanth Kumar added that separate social media monitoring teams have been formed to keep a close watch on fake news, misleading information, and AI-generated content which can affect harmony during elections.
