The Yanam Administration has made full preparations to face Cyclone Montha. A 28-member NDRF team from Visakhapatnam and 40 Indian Reserve Battalion personnel from Puducherry have reached Yanam for rescue and relief operations. Eighteen cyclone shelters have been arranged, and six generators have been installed in vulnerable areas , including Savitri Nagar, Giriyampet, and Dariyalatippa.
