The water level of the Yamuna River in Delhi continues to remain above the danger mark today. The water level has risen due to continuous moderate to heavy rainfall in the national capital for the past few days. As a precaution, people living in low-lying areas have already been rescued and shifted to safer places.
The water level is flowing above the danger level at over 207 metres. Heavy traffic is being witnessed at Kashmere Gate due to waterlogging. Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa has said that the Delhi government is continuously monitoring the situation. He said, The situation is currently under control.
