In Cricket, the much-awaited 4th season of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026 is set to begin today. Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will take on defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) in the opening clash at Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai. The match will begin at 7:30 PM. The T20 tournament will begin with a grand opening ceremony ahead of the match. Several celebrities, including Yo Yo Honey Singh, Jacqueline Fernandez and Harnaaz Sandhu, will perform during the ceremony. 

 

 

This edition of the WPL will be played across two venues – Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai and the BCA Stadium in Vadodara. Following the completion of the Navi Mumbai leg, the action will shift to the BCA Stadium in Vadodara, which will host the remaining 11 fixtures, including the Playoffs.
