World Food India 2025 Scheduled in New Delhi from September 25–28

World Food India 2025 will be organised from 25th to 28th of September at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. The 4th edition of World Food India aims to promote investments in the diverse food processing sector, as well as introduce India’s rich food culture to the World. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the event on Thursday.
Briefing the media in New Delhi today, Minister of Food Processing Industries, Chirag Paswan, said that World Food India is not merely a trade show, but a transformative platform to position India as a global hub for food innovation, investment, and sustainability.
 
 
He added that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, this event demonstrates a commitment to sustainable, inclusive, and future-ready food systems and strengthens India’s position as the Food Basket of the World.
On the occasion, Mr Paswan also launched a publication titled ‘Frequently Asked Questions on Different Concepts of Food Processing’. He said that his ministry has constituted a committee to prepare regulations for misleading advertisements related to processed foods.   
 
 
The Ministry of Food Processing Industries said that New Zealand and Saudi Arabia are partner countries of the World Food India 2025, and focus countries are Russia, UAE, Japan and Vietnam. It added that over 1700 exhibitors, more than 500 international buyers, and representatives from over 100 countries will attend the event. The Ministry said that this mega global food event will witness participation from more than 21 countries, 21 Indian States and Union Territories, and 10 Central Ministries.
