The winter session of the Delhi Legislative Assembly will begin tomorrow. The four-day session will continue till 8th of this month. During the session, discussions will be held on various issues, including pollution, environment, and CAG’s report related to the Sheesh Mahal project, as well as the Delhi Jal Board.
Ahead of the session, Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta today inspected the Assembly premises and reviewed the administrative, technical, and digital arrangements. Mr Gupta said that the focus of the winter session will remain on ensuring the smooth conduct of proceedings while preserving the decorum of the House.
He also informed that during the session, MLAs will use the National e-Vidhan Application (NeVA) through iPads installed at their respective tables in the House. The Speaker said that the use of this app will ensure transparency, efficiency, and accessibility in legislative work during the proceedings.
