Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said that the agreement signed between the Government of India, the Government of Nagaland, and representatives of the Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organisation (ENPO) will open new avenues of opportunity and prosperity for the people.

Sharing a social media post by Home Minister Amit Shah on the X platform, Mr Modi noted that the pact will further accelerate the development trajectory of Eastern Nagaland. He added that the agreement reflects the government’s unwavering commitment to peace, progress, and inclusive growth in the Northeast.

In his post, Home Minister Amit Shah described the agreement as a giant step towards realising the Prime Minister’s vision of a peaceful and prosperous Northeast by resolving all contentious issues.
