West Bengal Governor meets BSF Eastern Command Head ahead of Elections

In view of the upcoming Assembly elections, West Bengal Governor Rabindra Narayan Ravi held a meeting in Kolkata today with Sumit Sharan, Head of the Eastern Command of the Border Security Force (BSF), to discuss the security situation along the Bangladesh border and the force’s role in the polls. During the meeting held at Lok Bhavan, detailed discussions took place regarding the current state of border security, deployment plans, and the BSF’s preparedness to maintain law and order during the elections. The Governor expressed satisfaction with the BSF’s level of preparation.
