The Chief Electoral Officer West Bengal Manoj Kumar Agarwal and the Electoral Roll Observers instructed the District Election Officers DEOs and EROs today that no eligible voter to be left out and no inelligible voter to be entered in the electoral roll under the ongoing SIR in West Bengal. Chief Electoral Officer West Bengal Manoj Kumar Agarwal chaired a SIR review meeting today virtually with the District Election Officers DEOs. It was attended by all EROs.

Special Roll Observer for the state Subrato Gupta and 12 Electoral Roll Observers were also present at the meeting. The Election Commission wrote to the Director General of Police, West Bengal for the safety and security of the BLOs and other personnels associated with the ongoing SIR process in the state.
