The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim today.

 

Assam, Meghalaya, Kerala, Mahe, South Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal are likely to experience heavy rainfall. The Met department has predicted thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds over Bihar, Chhattisgarh, East Madhya Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Kerala, Mahe, and South Interior Karnataka today.

 

Meanwhile, the weather agency has predicted heatwave conditions at isolated places over Vidarbha. It said that Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal are expected to witness Hot and Humid weather conditions at isolated places.
