The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall or snowfall at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh today. The weather department also said that parts of Assam and Meghalaya can experience thunderstorms accompanied and lightning till tomorrow.

Dense fog conditions will likely prevail today over the Gangetic West Bengal region. IMD said there will be no significant change in minimum temperature over the plains of Northwest India during the next 5 days. The eastern part of the country is likely to witness a gradual rise in minimum temperatures by 2-3 degrees Celsius in the coming 2 days.
