The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast dense fog conditions in isolated pockets of Odisha today. Arunachal Pradesh and northeast Assam can experience scattered light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning in the coming 2-3 days.

It said minimum temperatures are likely to remain the same over the eastern region of the country for the next 3 days. Central India and Maharashtra can experience a gradual rise in maximum temperatures by 2-4 degrees Celsius during the next 4-5 days.
