A BJP delegation from West Bengal led by state BJP President and MP Samik Bhattacharya met with the Election Commission in New Delhi today. BJP leader Amit Malviya informed the media that the delegation urged the commission to look into the statements made by the West Bengal Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee, and alleged that they amount to intimidation and an attempt to force state government employees into subordination. The West Bengal BJP President demanded the Election commission to ensure that no Rohingyas, Bangladeshi infiltrators, and fake voters are added in the voter list. Mr. Bhattacharya added that the EC assured the delegation that the voter list for West Bengal elections will be transparent.
