Highlighting the rich cultural heritage of Darjeeling, Vice President C P Radhakrishnan today said that the region stands out for upholding exceptionally high cultural standards. Interacting with the members of the Darjeeling Youth Federation at the Vice President’s Enclave in New Delhi, Mr Radhakrishnan said that every citizen should be guided by an unwavering commitment to place the Nation first. In a social media post, he further emphasised that national and regional interests should work in harmony with one another. The Vice President added that preserving the country’s traditions and cultural legacy must always remain at the core of both the citizens and the government.

Member of Parliament from the Rajya Sabha, Harsh V Shringla, was also present during the occasion.
