Vice President C P Radhakrishnan today paid tribute to the former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh on his birth anniversary. In a social media post, Mr Radhakrishnan said that the former Prime Minister was a towering leader and a champion of farmers’ welfare.

The vice president added that his unwavering commitment to rural development, social justice and the empowerment of the agrarian community left a lasting imprint on India’s public life.
