Vice President C P Radhakrishnan today said that the country’s journey towards a Viksit and Atmanirbhar Bharat is inspired from the constitutional principles of equality, justice, liberty and fraternity. While launching the Coffee Book Table during the Constitution Day Celebrations at Delhi Assembly today, the Vice President said that the constitution was born out of intellect and is the soul of India. Furthermore, Mr Radhakrishnan lauded the country’s recent achievements of becoming the fourth largest economy in the world and for drifting over 25 crore people out of the poverty line in the country.

The event was also attended by Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena and Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. Speaking on the occasion CM Gupta said that the constitution is the lifeline of all the Indians. She also underlined that the constitution plays the role of tying all the citizens with one thread.
