Vice President C P Radhakrishnan has described the India AI Impact Summit as the forefront of efforts by India to shape a people-first, democratic AI future. In a social media post, Mr Radhakrishnan added that this is reflected in the Summit’s theme of ‘Sarvajana Hitaya, Sarvajana Sukhaya’. He also highlighted that by placing public good, accessibility, and global cooperation at the heart of AI’s evolution, the country seeks to connect the technological strengths of the Global North with the scale and potential of the Global South. The Vice President further said that the summit will drive inclusive and shared progress worldwide. While reaffirming Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s message during the AI Action Summit in Paris last year, he emphasised that AI must remain human-centric and guided by responsibility.
