Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan today expressed grief over the tragic bus accident that occurred in Nepal, leading to the loss of the lives of seven Indian pilgrims from Tamil Nadu. In a social media post, Mr Radhakrishnan extended his condolences to the bereaved families in this hour of grief. The Vice President also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured. 

 

He added that the government has also asked the concerned authorities and the Indian Embassy in Nepal to extend all necessary assistance, including support for the injured and facilitation for bringing back the mortal remains of the deceased.
