Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal today called on the Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan at Parliament House. In a social media post, Mr Radhakrishnan said that during the meeting, he was briefed on the key initiatives and activities of the Ministry. He also said that discussions were focused on the status of manufacturing and foreign trade, along with government efforts to promote ease of doing business, boost manufacturing, and make India a global export hub. The Vice President also appreciated the Ministry’s efforts in enhancing India’s global trade presence and emphasized coordinated action across departments to achieve the vision of Viksit Bharat.
