President Droupadi Murmu has expressed grief over the loss of lives in a tragic incident due to a vehicle falling into a gorge in Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. In a social media post, President Murmu extended her condolences to the bereaved families and also prayed for the swift recovery of those injured.

Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan has expressed grief over the loss of lives due to an accident in the Tehri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand. In a social media post, Mr Radhakrishnan said that the tragic accident is deeply distressing. He said that his thoughts are with the families who have lost their loved ones. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief over the loss of lives due to an accident in the Tehri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand. In a social media post, Mr Modi extended his condolences to those who have lost their loved ones in this mishap. He also hoped for the speedy recovery of the injured.

The Prime Minister also announced that an ex gratia payment of two lakh rupees from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund would be given to the next of kin of each deceased. The injured would be given 50 thousand rupees.
