Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar underscored the importance of remembering the sacrifices made for India’s freedom through the Constitution Jagar campaign. Speaking at the Saraswati Bhuvan Educational Institution, he highlighted that this initiative will play a crucial role in educating the younger generation about their fundamental rights and duties.

Vice President Dhankhar inaugurated the ‘Jagar Samvidhan Samvidhancha’ program, accompanied by his wife Dr. Sudesh Dhankhar, Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan, Social Justice Minister and District Guardian Minister Sanjay Shirsath, Other Backward Classes Welfare Minister Atul Save, Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Bhagwat Karad, and Saraswati Bhuvan Educational Institution President Dinesh Vakil, along with Secretary Shrirang Deshpande. The event witnessed the presence of a large number of students and citizens.

In his address, Vice President Dhankhar emphasised that the sacrifices of revolutionaries paved the way for India’s independence, and the creation of the Indian Constitution was a result of dialogue, coordination, and collective wisdom. He stressed that maintaining a peaceful environment is in the nation’s best interest and is a fundamental objective of the republic. Urging citizens to honour the Constitution, he called for fulfilling duties alongside exercising fundamental rights.

Mr. Dhankhar also highlighted the significance of voting, emphasising that representatives are chosen through this democratic right. He described the identity of being an Indian as a gift of the Constitution, encouraging every citizen to prioritise national interest while performing their duties. He asserted that the Constitution Jagar campaign will instill a sense of nationalism among the people.
