Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan paid homage to India’s first President, Dr Rajendra Prasad, on his birth anniversary. In a social media post, Mr Radhakrishnan recalled him as a towering freedom fighter who guided the drafting of the Constitution with his wisdom as the President of the Constituent Assembly. The Vice President added that Dr Prasad’s simplicity, integrity and lifelong commitment to democratic values continue to inspire generations
