Prime Minister Narendra Modi today shared an article by Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan highlighting the intent of the Viksit Bharat G RAM G Bill. In the social media post, Mr Modi said that the bill aims to transform rural livelihoods through a modernised employment guarantee framework. He added that Mr Chouhan explains that the bill focuses on strengthening worker security while improving farm productivity, embedding local planning, converging welfare schemes and enhancing frontline capacity. The Prime Minister underlined that the bill is not a rollback of social welfare but a renewal of it, aligned with the vision of a developed and self-reliant rural India.
