Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah paid tributes to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya on his death anniversary.
In a social media post, the Vice President called Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya a visionary thinker and nation-builder, who dedicated his life to the service of society. Mr Radhakrishnan added that Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya’s principle of Integral Humanism remains relevant for the entire world. He also said that Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya’s message of serving the most downtrodden with compassion and ethical public life continues to inspire India’s journey towards Viksit Bharat.
In another social media post Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya’s principles and thoughts, rooted in values, will continue to remain a guiding light for every generation of the country. Home Minister Amit Shah said that Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya will continue to remain an eternal source of inspiration for nation-building for countless generations.
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla also paid tributes to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya on his death anniversary. In a social media post, Mr. Birla described Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya as the architect of integral humanism and a voice for the spirit of Antyodaya across the country.
The Lok Sabha Speaker said that Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya’s philosophy, based on Swadeshi, self-reliance, and cultural self-awareness, continues to guide national policy and social discourse. Mr. Birla said that through Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya’s thoughts and life, the country’s progress is meaningful only when the benefits of development reach the last person in society. He explained that Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya championed the idea of linking politics not with power, but with service, morality, and social responsibility.
