Vice President, PM and Home Minister Extend Statehood Day Greetings to Arunachal Pradesh

Vice President C P Radhakrishnan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah today extended greetings to the people of Arunachal Pradesh on their Statehood Day. In a social media post, the Vice President said that culturally rich and ecologically diverse, the state is blessed with pristine Himalayan landscapes, immense biodiversity, beautiful monasteries, rich forest cover, and vibrant tribal traditions and unique festivals. Mr Radhakrishnan said that Arunachal Pradesh truly reflects the spirit of harmony between nature and culture.
 
Prime Minister Modi said that blessed with majestic landscapes and an extraordinary cultural diversity, Arunachal Pradesh stands as a shining example of harmony between tradition and nature. He also said that the state’s spirited and industrious citizens play a vital role in strengthening the nation’s progress. The Prime Minister further noted the state’s diverse tribal ethos adds immense richness to our nation. 
 
Meanwhile, Mr Shah also prayed for the continued progress of the state while nurturing its rich cultural heritage and natural endowments.
