Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan has called upon people to come together for the development and well-being of society with community spirit and religious harmony. He was attending a gathering in connection with Christmas celebrations and the New Year, ‘The Trivandrum Fest 2025’ at LMS Church Compound in Thiruvananthapuram yesterday.

 

 

Vice President Radhakrishnan said that the true spirit of democracy, communal harmony and development could be seen when people celebrate religious festivals together. 

Governor Rajendra Arlekar delivered a message of love at the gathering. 

 

 

The function was presided over by the Latin Archdiocese Archbishop Thomas J.Netto. Mayor VV Rajesh, Believers Eastern Church Metropolitan Samuel Mar Theilophilos, Shanthigiri Ashram General Secretary Gururatnam Jnana Tapaswi, Palayam Imam V P Suhaib Maulavi were among the dignitaries who attended the function. 

 

 

Today, the Vice President will attend the 93rd Sivagiri Pilgrimage at Varkala, after which he will inaugurate the public meeting to mark the conclusion of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations of Mar Ivanios College, Thiruvananthapuram.
