In Tamil Nadu, Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan has said that citizens should work hard to make India a Viksit Bharat in 2047.

Speaking at the Coimbatore Citizens Forum today, he said that labourers in the Industry and farmers in agriculture are the backbone for the growth and development of the Country.

The Vice President said that modernisation does not wipe out labourers, but it contributes to the growth of Industry. The Vice President arrived at Coimbatore after taking part in the swearing-in of the President of Seychelles. He was given a warm welcome by the leaders of Industry and representatives of the State Government.
