Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan and Prime Minister Narendra Modi today paid tribute to the late poet Subramania Bharati on his birth anniversary.

 

 

The Vice President offered floral tributes to Mahakavi Subramania Bharati at the Vice President’s Enclave. In a social media post, he noted that Mr Bharati awakened generations with his stirring verses on patriotism, equality, and human dignity. He said that his powerful words and progressive ideals continue to ignite patriotism and inspire generations. 

 

 

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Modi said that Subramania Bharati’s verses ignited courage, and his thoughts had the power to leave a lasting impression on the minds of countless people. He added that Bharati’s contributions to enriching Tamil literature also remain unparalleled.
