Venezuela’s Supreme Court has asked Vice President Delcy Rodríguez to assume the charge of acting President today. Meanwhile, opposition leader María Corina Machado has called for an opposition candidate to assume power. This comes after Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, along with his wife, were captured and flown out of the country, after a large-scale attack by the US yesterday morning.
