Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and Rural Development, Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that Viksit Bharat G-RAM-G scheme will promote employment for workers, empower women and farmers, and encourage rural entrepreneurship.
Extending the greetings of the New Year to the farmers, workers, labourers, and Lakhpati Didis, Mr Singh said that more than two crore Lakhpati Didis are becoming self-reliant and inspiring other women across the country.
He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the government is committed to strengthening the foundation of a Viksit Bharat by empowering villages, the poor, farmers, workers, youth, and women.
The Minister said that in the new year, efforts will be intensified to increase agricultural production, enhance farmers’ income, and strengthen rural infrastructure.
