Regular Vande Bharat service commences between Jammu & Kashmir Valley, enhancing regional connectivity

The Vande Bharat Express has officially commenced its regular service between Jammu and the Kashmir Valley today. The train departed at 6:20 AM from Jammu, marking a significant step in enhancing rail connectivity in the region. The service was inaugurated on Thursday, by Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, who flagged off the train and described it as a major milestone for Jammu and Kashmir.

Passengers travelling on the first routine service expressed their happiness and extended their gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for introducing the high-speed train service, calling it a transformative initiative for the region.

Many passengers described the journey as a new and comfortable experience, especially highlighting the convenience it offers to elderly passengers. They termed the moment as historic, emphasizing the ease and improved connectivity it brings to the people of the Union Territory. The Vande Bharat Express is expected to significantly boost travel efficiency and strengthen the link between Jammu and Srinagar.
