The Met Department has forecast light rainfall and snowfall at some places in different parts of Uttarakhand in the coming days. According to the department, light rain or thunder with lightning is likely at a few places in the hill districts of the state today, while the weather in the plains is expected to remain dry.

In Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh districts, thunder with lightning and gusty winds blowing at a speed of 40 to 50 kilometres per hour are likely at isolated places tomorrow. According to the Meteorological Department, on 19 March, thunder with lightning and gusty winds with speeds of 40 to 50 kilometres per hour may occur at isolated places in all districts of the state.

The department said that in the coming days light to moderate rainfall is likely at many places in the hill districts, with snowfall in higher reaches. In the plains, light rain and thunder with lightning may occur at isolated places.
