In Uttarakhand, the Surya Devbhoomi Challenge, organised jointly by the Indian Army and Uttarakhand Tourism at the Chauras campus of Garhwal University in Tehri district, concluded today.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the Army, besides safeguarding the nation’s borders, is playing a significant role in nation-building by inspiring society and youth through such events. He said that such initiatives help strengthen discipline, courage, leadership qualities, and a sense of patriotism among the youth.
Around 300 participants from across the country took part in this challenging 113-kilometre-long event.
