In Uttarakhand, the 25th convocation ceremony of the Indian Institute of Technology- IIT located in Roorkee, Haridwar District, was celebrated with great enthusiasm today. During the ceremony, degrees were awarded to 2,614 students.

Participating in the event, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Dr. Jitendra Singh said that the students studying at IIT Roorkee are contributing to the development of the nation. He stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the central government is not only promoting innovation but also focusing on creating new employment opportunities through startups.
