Uttarakhand: Amit Shah Inaugurates Rs 1,271 Cr Projects in Rudrapur

Union Home Minister Amit Shah today inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various works of the Uttarakhand government worth 1,271 crore rupees in Rudrapur. Mr Shah interacted with investors and entrepreneurs from across the country at the Uttarakhand Investment Festival – 2025 organised at Rudrapur, Uttarakhand.

 

Addressing people on this occasion, the Union Minister said that the country cannot develop unless small states like Uttarakhand can progress, so the central government has paid special attention to the development of small states and eastern states.

 

 

Mr Shah, appreciating the Chief Minister of the state, Pushkar Singh Dhami, said that he has established a balance between industrial development and the environment. The Union Minister also said that Mr Dhami has chalked out the overall development of Uttarakhand with transparency in policies, speed in implementation and foresight in vision. Mr Shah said that today, with the investment of one lakh crore rupees in Uttarakhand, more than 81 thousand jobs have been created.

 

The Minister said that Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy and Organic Farming will form the foundation of Uttarakhand’s development in the coming days. He emphasized that the state’s traditions, environment and people’s faith are deeply connected to these sectors. There is immense potential for increased investment and tourism in these areas.
