US Under Secretary of State Allison Hooker arrives in New Delhi to advance strategic partnership

Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs of the United States Allison Hooker arrived in New Delhi today.

 

 

In a statement, the US Embassy informed that the visit focuses on advancing the U.S.-India strategic partnership, deepening economic and commercial ties, including increasing American exports. It added that the visit also focuses on fostering collaboration in emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence and space exploration.

 

 

During her visit to the National Capital, Under Secretary Hooker will meet with Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri and other senior officials to discuss regional security, economic cooperation, and shared priorities in the Indo-Pacific.

 

 

The Embassy further informed that she will also visit the Indian Space Research Organisation in Bengaluru and meet leaders from India’s dynamic space, energy, and technology sectors to promote innovation in US-India research partnerships and to explore opportunities for expanded cooperation.

 

 

The US Embassy asserted that the visit also marks another step forward in advancing President Donald Trump’s priorities for a strong US and India partnership and a free and open Indo-Pacific.
