US Congressman Rich McCormick says unlike India, Islamabad doesn’t bring investments into America

US Congressman and a member of Donald Trump’s Republican party, Rich McCormick, has said, unlike India, Islamabad doesn’t bring investments into America. Speaking at an event hosted by the Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), McCormick also underlined that alienating India would be big trouble for Americans.

Pointing out India’s economic and strategic importance, at a time when ties with Washington have come under strain over tariffs and trade, McCormick said, Pakistan is a country with three hundred million people. But they don’t bring investments into America. India not only takes investments, but it also brings investments into the United States. Terming India and the USA like-minded countries, he underscored the need for fairness in collaboration and trade.
