In Uttar Pradesh, police are on high alert after the car blast in the national capital this evening. 

 

 

 

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath spoke to state DGP Rajiv Krishna and ordered the senior police officials to intensify checking and ground patrolling.

 

 

Police are also on high alert in the border areas, particularly at the Nepal border. In many districts, senior officials conducted flag marches at the important and sensitive locations, and the Railway Protection Force intensified patrolling and searches at the railway stations. 

 

 

DGP Rajiv Krishna has ordered all senior police officers in each and every district to visit sensitive areas, keep an eye on the social media posts and continuously monitor the real-time footage of CCTV at the important locations.
