Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today emphasised the need for collective efforts to unite and ensure that every child has access to quality education. He was speaking at a function in Lucknow, where scholarships were awarded to around 4 lakh students across the state. Highlighting the government’s initiatives, the Chief Minister stated that scholarships worth 2,825 crore rupees have been distributed in 2025-26 alone to students from disadvantaged groups. Between 2017 and 2025, more than 2 crore students have benefited from various scholarship schemes.
