Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed officials to ensure swift, transparent, and sensitive action in the case of damage due to bad weather in the state. Chairing a high-level review meeting, the Chief Minister instructed that effective coordination be established at the district level among revenue, agriculture, and other concerned departments and that surveys be completed quickly and reports sent to the government without delay so that relief distribution is not held up. He also directed officials to maintain active coordination with insurance companies to ensure the quick settlement of crop insurance claims.
