UP CM Yogi Adityanath directs large-scale implementation of Farmer Registry across state

In Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed the large-scale implementation of the Farmer Registry across the state, emphasizing that the registration of all farmers must be ensured on a priority basis. He instructed that special camps be organized in every Gram Panchayat at the earliest to connect farmers with the Farmer Registry, so that no eligible farmer is left out of the system. The Chief Minister instructed the Agriculture Department to establish the necessary technical infrastructure within the stipulated timeline to link all its schemes with the Farmer Registry and to make the departmental portal fully operational by May 1, 2026.

The Chief Minister said that the state government is developing the Farmer Registry as an integrated benefit delivery system in the agriculture sector. He said that all beneficiary-oriented schemes of the Agriculture Department and other related departments are being linked to the Farmer Registry, enabling farmers to access multiple scheme benefits in a simple and streamlined manner using a single identity
