Uttar Pradesh Artificial Intelligence and Health Innovation Conference is currently underway in Lucknow. On the second day of the conference, panellists are discussing different aspects of AI in healthcare, such as leveraging AI tools to strengthen the country’s healthcare system.

During the inaugural ceremony yesterday, Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology Jitin Prasada said the country is steadily emerging as a global leader in digital technologies and artificial intelligence. He underlined that Uttar Pradesh is rapidly evolving into a major technology destination, with digital infrastructure reaching even the remotest areas.

62 AI and data labs to be set up across Uttar Pradesh under the India AI Mission, significantly strengthening the state’s AI research, skilling, and deployment capabilities. The Uttar Pradesh Regional AI Impact Conference 2026 marks a precursor to the India AI Impact Summit 2026, scheduled to be held in New Delhi from 16th to 20th of next month.
